Our yoga and fitness areas are located on the second floor. The fitness area has the equipment and tools necessary for general fitness and to propel any basic climber to an elite climber.  Whether it’s strength training, cardio, or climbing specific system training, we have the tools and equipment necessary:  bikes, treadmills, elliptical, rowers, training rig, squat racks, cargo netting, climbing ropes, battle ropes, sleds, kettle bells, dumb bells, monkey bars, peg boards, punching bag, salmon ladder, and so much more.

Our yoga room has been specially designed to be able to heat up and cool down to facilitate a variety of classes, including heated yoga and non heated yoga. We have recruited some of the area’s best instructors to offer a full spectrum of classes for the young, old, male, female, beginners, and advanced.  Whether you need to relax after a long day at work, stretch and tone the core muscles, ease achy muscles, or elasticize and strengthen the pivotal areas to help you reach your training goals. The majority of classes are included in your membership. Please see our monthly calendar for the class schedule and please feel free to talk with us about requested classes and times that work best for you.  We are here for you and if we can get a large enough group to support that class and time slot, we will make it happen.

YOUR FIRST HOT YOGA CLASS

To get the most out of your practice and enjoy the experience, we recommend that you:
-Arrive 10 minutes early.
-Discuss any health issues with your teacher.
-Don’t come to class on a full stomach.
-Bring water.
-Wear something you can sweat in.
-Yoga mats and yoga towels are provided free of charge.
-Listen to your body.
-Take breaks often.
-There are showers at the gym to use after class.
 
 
 

AM HOT YOGA

Our Monday and Wednesday 60 minute morning HOT yoga classes are taught by Kim and Dre, both 200 hour Registered Yoga Teachers. These classes will be in a heated room of 100 – 105 degrees. You will do vinyasa flow style yoga using full range of motions to help with all your daily activities and hobbies including climbing. Doing yoga regularly will help you build both strength and flexibility to have a more balanced body. You will get stronger, more pliable, more healthy and more mindful!

This 80 minute HOT yoga class is led by Kim, 200 RYT, in a 105 degree room with humidity. It is a movement based class with a strong emphasis on breath, strength, and flexibility. The classes are powerful, vigorous, energetic and playful. Moving mindfully through poses allows beginners, intermediate, and advanced students to be challenged all in the same class. The room is heated to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles. The class length is 80 minutes.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative Yoga is led by Kim. Restorative yoga is about rejuvenation and relaxation. It is an excellent way to help lower stress and enjoy long, meditative stretches. This class will teach you how to enjoy stillness. You will leave feeling rejuvenated but relaxed; balanced but calm. It’s an extremely gentle practice close to the ground with poses held for a longer amount of time. Blocks, blankets, and straps are always used. The lights are dimmed and the music is soft. Wear layers because you need to be warm and comfortable. This class maximum is 15 so reserve your spot. The length of this class is 60 minutes.

GENTLE FLOW YOGA

Gentle Flow Yoga, led by Kim or Dre, both 200 hour Registered Yoga Teachers, is is a great way to revitalize the body, restore internal balance, relax the mind and release stress. It’s a slow-moving class that synchronizes slow movement with slow breathing. The class will have some flow, some deep stretching, and some restorative poses. It is a gentle way to give your whole body a gentle buzz of energy. Because it offers nurturing, kindness and compassion for the body, it is great for all levels including beginners. It is the perfect way to end your Monday.

BOOT CAMP WITH BRYAN

Boot camp with Bryan is a group setting fitness class that is fun, up-beat and very interactive. Whether you are a beginner to the fitness world or you’re an advanced athlete this class will suit your needs. This class has a lot of body weight and natural movement exercises. Moving our bodies in the most natural way will give us the best benefit in everyday living. This is 60 minutes of pure AWESOME! Starting with a solid 15 minute warm up to get the blood pumping and the muscles warmed up, we then move into high intensity stations for about 30 minutes. After high intensity we will tone it down for a good core workout and cool down followed by a deep stretch. If you want to meet new fitness enthusiast, people with goals, new friends, or just want to get a good workout in a group setting, come join the fun Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 6am.

STRENGTH, CORE & MORE

Strength, Core and More is led by Julie Ellis, a Physical Therapist or Bryan McCombs, an Spartan SGX Coach. They will lead you in a challenging variety of movements designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen and tone the entire body as well as improve postural stability and core strength. This is a 45 minute high energy class with intervals, kettle bells, bands, and combined movements to challenge all fitness levels. All equipment is provided.

BASE CAMP

Base Camp, led by Bryan McCombs, is a high energy strength & conditioning class designed to develop the recreational fitness enthusiasts’ body and mind into top shape. The approach to overall performance improvement incorporates strength, intensity, endurance, speed, core stability and aerobic training – all delivered in a supportive & friendly atmosphere which creates a rewarding environment to grow. The class will utilize the fitness area, the multi-rig, medicine balls, free weights and your own body weight. Our goal is to deliver a fitness class you look forward to all day then leave with a sense of achievement that carries into everything else you do in life.
