Intro to Top Rope – CURRENTLY NOT OFFERED UNLESS BY SPECIAL REQUEST
This is an entry level climbing class to get you started on how to top rope. Prerequisites: Must know how to belay or take our free belay classes (see above). Climbing gear provided if you take this class.

Intro to Bouldering – CURRENTLY NOT OFFERED UNLESS BY SPECIAL REQUEST
This is an entry level bouldering class to get you started on how boulder. No prerequisites are required. Climbing gear provided if you take this class.

This class requires a minimum attendance of 3 participants. We will reschedule if minimum attendance.
Learn How To Lead Class
Must be able to climb a proficient 10B before taking the class. It is a two day course set for 2 hours each day. The 2 hour time may be exceeded each day so plan accordingly. Participants must wait 24 hours after course to test for certification so also plan for this in your schedule. This test can be done when there is a Gemstone Employee certified to give the Lead Test available. To take this course participants must have Gemstone Top Rope Belay Certification, the ability to confidently climb 5.10b, able to use ATC and ATC Pilot on top rope and be over the age of 14 (unless prior approval is given for younger participants).

- We will provide the rope, but the gear is not included. This will include 2 day passes and use of lead climbing rope.
